Full complement needle roller construction provides high radial load capacity and improved resistance to shock loading verse caged needle bearing.
Manufactured from bearing quality steel.
A heavy-sectioned outer race design to help withstand shock loading of cam follower operation
Inner studs are induction heat treated in the roller path and flange surfaces only. The remainder of the stud is not hardened resulting in a ductile stem that provides toughness.
Black oxide finish on all external surfaces inhibits corrosion.
Our sealed bearing option helps extend bearing life by utilizing a lubrication groove and LUBRI-DISC ® seals.
The lubrication groove in the outer raceway provides a lubrication reservoir to help prolong lubrication intervals and increase the pre-lubricated life of the bearing
The LUBRI-DISC ® seals helps in three ways:
The labyrinth and contact sealing protect against loss of lubricant and helps prevent entrance of contamination.
The vents help prevent seal blow-out during relubrication.
The integral backplate design reduces internal friction by eliminating metal-on-metal contact
The threads are manufactured to a class 2 tolerances.
Bearings are supplied pre-lubricated with lithium soap thickened grease.
Standard sizes and custom designs available upon request.
McGill are arguably the US's leader in cam follower and yoke roller production. Championing the cam follower and yoke roller bearing over 50 years ago, McGill have evolved this form of needle roller bearing into a high precision, long life product. McGill (owned by the Emerson corporation) also produce the worlds leading single row barrel roller bearing - the Spherol series which competes with the traditional double row spherical roller series. For further information on the McGill range of products please click any one of the downloadable PDF files from below. If you would like asistance with any of these products or require a quotation then just click on the request quotation button at the top of this page.

McGill Bearings patented the famous CAMROL cam follower bearing more than 60 years ago; it‘s still the leader, offered today in over 1,400 different combinations and configurations. McGill bearing has three plants in Indiana, plus one in Taiwan to serve global markets.

McGill Bearing was founded in 1937 when the first cam follower was invented in the needle bearing style. Since its inception McGill has become a worldwide leader in the manufacture of cam followers as well as needle bearings and roller bearings. McGill bearing offers one of the largest inventories of ready to ship bearings and cam followers in the power transmission industry.

As a part of Emerson Power Transmission (EPT) McGill bearing continues to dominate the cam follower and precision bearings marketplaces. McGill is responsible for the production of several types of cam followers including: track roller, corrosion resistant, heavy duty and their CAMROL series of cam followers. All of the products included in McGills broad line offer customers several positive aspects including: increased contamination resistance and longer product life and many of these products are equipped with lubrication for life capabilities
