Scooter and Skateboard bearings are the same size and so can be used in
either scooter wheels or skateboard wheels. Bearings that have been
manufactured for skateboards come in packs of 8 whereas bearings manufactured
for scooters come in packs of 4. Some bearings have an ABEC rating and some do
not. Just because a bearing does not have an ABEC rating does not mean the
bearing is rubbish, infact our best selling bearings are Bones Reds and they do
not rate their bearings! If you are on a budget or just need single bearings
then check out our NMB bearings as they are only £1.00 each and great quality.
If you are fitting your bearings into Metal Core [Scooter
bearings] then check out our guide - 'How to fit Scooter Bearings'.
We sell 100mm and 110mm scooter wheels which are suitable for most trick
scooters on the market today. The vast majority of wheels we now sell have a
metal core (also called Aluminium Core Wheels) and a PU (Polyurethane) outer.
Our wheels are all sold individually and do not come with bearings unless
stated otherwise. When you purchase your scooter bearings you will need to
either press or hammer them into your wheels as they are designed to be a tight
fit.If you need any help on fitting your ina
bearings into your wheel give us a call or read our short guide on 'How to
Install Bearings into Metal core Scooter Wheels'.
Scooter bearing and skateboard bearing are the same. Two go in each wheel
of your scooter. They are what let the wheel spin round. If you want some for
good value, check out bones reds bearings. Or if your really crazy you can buy
some 100 quid ones that let your wheels spin for about 3 minutes.
If you are willing to spend money, the you should buy Bonez-Swiss bearings.
They are the best. But if you dont want to spend so much money, you should get
Bonez-Redz bearings. Those are good fag bearings,
and they are not that expensive.and if u r willing to spend alot more money but
for 10 times better quality and speed u r better off buying "Bonez Ceramics"
$150 from any decent skate shop
Yeah, in fact.. It's a smarter decision to buy 'SKATEBOARD' bearings over
'SCOOTER' bearings because, for the same price, you get 8 with the skateboard,
and 4 with the scooter.
Essentially, you'd get 2 sets of Bones Reds (best value) for your scooter,
which only needs 2 bearings per wheel, at 20 bucks max.
Set of 4 Bones Super Reds scooter bearings. Precision ground balls with
removable nylon cages for easy cleaning and lubricating. These bearings are extra-smooth, fast and durable. Don't forget the
Bones Speed Cream to keep them running smooth on your pro scooter.
