We offer a wide range of SKF bearings, which conform to the special requirements on noisiness and rotation accuracy of internal ring, according to ISO standards for "electric motor bearings" .
In 1991 SKF Group passed the certification, including ISO 90014 standard, and developed the new modern technologies of the rolling bearings production. Due to these technologies, total control of every bearing element and nonselective assembling, SKF Group obtained the quality, at which any standard bearing, coming off its conveyer, corresponds to the noisiness class QE6 and even to harder class QE5. At the same time any standard deep groove ball bearing with the bore diameter of inner ring up to 85 mm corresponds to the precision class P5 and noisiness class on the border between QE4 and QE5, and with the diameter from 85 up to 420 mm corresponds to the precision class P6 and noisiness class on the border between QE5 and QE6. In this connection SKF Group stopped marking the special suffixes in the bearing designations (QE6, P6 etc.)
When ordering bearings for the electric motors application, please, take this fact into consideration. For example, instead of the required by you designation 6206/QE6 or 6206/P6, we will offer you the bearings with the designation 6206, which excel as per their parameters the classes QE6 and P6.
Our metric series miniature bearings (mini bearings) and small bearings are available open, shielded or sealed, with bore sizes as small as 0.6mm. The smaller sizes are sometimes referred to as instrument ina bearings or micro bearings. We provide metric sizes for applications as varied as food processing and electric motor bearings. We provide customers with model bearings for remote-controlled cars, thin section bearings for bicycles, and skateboard bearings designed to provide a longer, smoother ride.
The first protocol which needs to be established in any plant or factory is whether ball bearings will be lubricated at all. A lot of companies may decide to adopt a no lubrication policy as the result of lubrication damaging a machine. It's true that correct lubrication can be tricky to get right, since so many variables can effect when and how much grease should be applied, so overall it can be easier to get hold of bearings which are manufactured to not need lubrication. Sealed bearings have an elastomeric seal which prevents contaminants getting into the bearing. These are especially useful in particularly harsh environments such as very moist atmospheres but the seals can fail when exposed to high heats or simply from mechanical stress. Generally sealed fag bearings are useful in smaller machines but may fail within as little as two years in larger machines.
